The word Giclée (“g-clay”), is derived from the French verb gicler meaning “to squirt or spray”. Giclée, is used to describe a fine art digital printing process combining pigment based inks with high quality archival quality paper (Hahnemühle German Etching, 310 gsm) to achieve Giclée prints of superior archival quality, light fastness and stability.
Profits from the sales of her art go towards her therapies, art materials, education and Iris’s future.

Beautiful beyond words! I too am a painter and art lover. Before I even looked at comments I also was reminded of Monet when looking at Iris’s paintings. I love her style, and wish her and the rest of the family all the best.
Splendid, in and of themselves without any reference to the unique situation of the artist. Once one knows Iris’ particular and special talent, it is even more wonderful. Confirms everything I’ve ever felt about the potential of autistic individuals–I’ve always felt each was a treasure chest, if only we outsiders had the wit and patience to find the key to unlock that potential.
Hello from Chicago! I love your daughter’s paintings and am probably going to buy a print as a Christmas present. I know quite a few people with children that have varying degrees of autism and having spent time with them, I know that it can be a challenge to find something that they love. (Horseback riding and archery have been a few that have worked) I have a question: Does Iris seem to have a favorite painting?
Well whenever we have a framed print of Explosions of Colour out she hugs it. Although I have seen her kiss other ones too like Patience. She loves looking at them on the computer after I photograph them too.
Iris is the goddess of the rainbow in Greek mythology. This talented artist uses many colors and uses the rainbow to her advantage.
I would be interested in the print of the red and greens over the piano. We are in the US. How much and how do we purchase this. We have numerous artists in our family and Inis’ work displays incredible depth.
