These paintings are truly amazing. I would be amazed if an adult did these but a 3 year old?!?!?! truly inspiring. I am an amateur painter and I paint for the same reasons as Iris and am not afraid to say she puts me to shame!! keep on girl you have true and raw talent!
Beautiful! Very Monet-esque! I wish I had the money to sponsor her solo exhibition…maybe “Kickstarter” (online way to raise money)…I’d contribute! Maybe you could convert some to prints and sell as well!
Amazing! I love them all, I don’t paint but draw with pen or pencil. Such a wonderful gift she has, beautiful- But beyond that!
The paintings are breathtakingly beautiful and could hang with pride next to any adult artist’s work. They make me sad, though, if they express her thoughts and how she perceives the world: chaotic, without form. I feel noise and information coming at me as a busy haze at the grocery, a party, and crowds of any kind. It’s uncomfortable – sometimes frightening. I hope that for her the vibrant color and pattern is enjoyable. I’m only sharing how I experience her images. Best of luck to Iris and her loving parents!
Thanks for your comments. I think you are absolutely right, they echo how she feels. For example when we have had a busy weekend with friends staying, there is definitely a more chaotic manner to the way she paints, but to me it is not upsetting, I am so happy that she can express it and not bottle it up.
Embrace the innocence that Iris exhibits, & her obvious zest for life, happy, carefree, much loved, experimental, and eager to learn/develop without even knowing it, a truly gifted girl.
I feel just the opposite. The soft colors makes me feel tranquil. I feel relaxed just looking at it and think maybe she’s this calm little girl just painting what she thinks about life. I could be wrong but everything has their thoughts.
they are beautiful paintings
I think your Daughters water color paintings are absolutely beautiful, and are actually very peaceful and soothing. Its obvious shes been blessed with a God given gift. May painting always bring her joy and comfort through out her life. God bless all of you
i don’t feel they are chaotic at all. they’re just beautifully tranquil like monet’s water lilies and irises. very very nice.
I see the exact opposite. I don’t even like this kind of art, but I find these incredibly calming. Thomas Kinkade claimed to “paint with light”. I think this child actually does.
That’s very interesting! I was looking at the paintings thinking how relaxing they were. They reminded me of Monet’s.
I see it a bit different. I believe she finds her comfort in the world of color. I myself could not understand this type of painting, until now. Stand back, look at images of our world from space. Color separates and distinguishes it from the darkness. Or sit by the ocean on a clear early morning or late afternoon. The sea appears fragmented, yet brings so much calm and peace. Color appears to have awakened her…and given her peace.
Es hermoso lo que hace esta niña tan chiquita…Ojala mi hijo pudiera llegar hacer algo como eso!!!tengo mucha fe el y se que ba a lograr muchas cosas hermosas en su vida!!!
