  1. I love impressionist paintings, particularly the French Impressionists. And Monet is my most favorite. These paintings are just wonderful. It is true they capture the color and light for which impressionism is so well known. Just wonderful, and so beautiful.

  2. Iris’s paintings are just amazing. I don’t know what paintings are good and bad, but when I am looking her masterpices, I feel I’m healing. Thank you so much.

  3. Stunned is the word that comes to mind. Utterly amazing, many professional artists would be privileged to have her talent. Would love to know when you are releasing originals. That’s if I can afford one.

    • Thank you so much for your kind comments. Originals are being saved for the London exhibition which is currently planned for the first week in November. All details will be posted up here as they become confirmed including online bidding which will be run alongside the live auction on the final evening.

  4. Wow, those are beautiful! I think it’s wonderful when children with difficulties find the thing that they love. I work with kids with learning disabilities and it’s so rare to be able to get them to focus for long on anything so when it happens it’s so exciting to see the results. :)

    • Hi Danel,
Its Iris’s Mother here Arabella, our original intention was just to share the photos of her work with family and friends on facebook, just some fun, everyone adored them and requests came flooding in to buy them. So we looked into making prints. The whole thing evolved from there and spread very fast. All the money is going towards her private therapy which costs over £7000.00 a year. This could be a potential career for Iris in the future if she wants to continue and we are also using her art as a platform to raise awareness for her condition – Autism. We are incredibly proud of our daughter and her art work and have her pieces all over the house and are keeping many originals for our family (there are quite a few originals that aren’t even displayed on the website), but I would never be able to display them all and its seems such a waste them being stored unseen in a drawer when so much good can come from them.

      • Dear Arabella,
I just wanted to say how amazed I was by looking at the paintings. It has brought met a feeling of calmness and peace that I didn’t feel for quite some time.
I can’t stop looking at them, specially the “Explosions of colour” which I easily spent at least 30 minutes staring at it.
Dear Iris, you are a blessed soul little angel!

      • Dear Arabella, I do hope you see this note I live in Florida and was astonished by the works of Iris. It always amazes me how the children with autism can have such wonderful hidden talents. I don’t know if you sell the prints to USA but would love to know what the cost is for us in USA dollars.
        Hugs to her,
        Gema G.

      • Hi Gemma,
Thanks for your interest in Iris’s Paintings, to find more info on prices in dollars…look under the International buyers section on the website.
        Thanks.

      • Iris, your paintings are so deeply soothing for the mind and soul, as they are hypnotic for the senses. They urged me to gaze at them in awe and provided me with such a peaceful vibration as I can only imagine the Universe itself can or the life in womb can have. Plus, watching you creating your paintings has the very same effect. You are also such a cute little girl! You are a blessing for us all, Iris. Thanks a lot for sharing yourself with us and thanks to your parents for letting us admire your talent and sensitivity. Tons of love for you all

  5. Hi again!
I love her work, please let me know when you have originals to sale, I’will bring one to France.
    Thank you.

  6. These are all so beautiful and I would love one for my healing room! Just have to make a decision about which print to save up for now xx What a wonderful way for Iris to express herself. Simply amazing x

    • These paintings are awesome. Do you know how many adults would love to be able to understand those brush strokes and putting those colors together like Iris has.she may not communicate much by talking but her paintings say a lot.

  7. Absolutely wonderful. I saw Iris’ story in the UK press this week and I have told everyone about her! The paintings are beautiful and I am going to buy one :-)

Thank you Iris, what a talent!

  8. Dear Arabella,
I just wanted to say how amazed I was by looking at the paintings. It has brought met a feeling of calmness and peace that I didn’t feel for quite some time.
I can’t stop looking at them, specially the “Explosions of colour” which I easily spent at least 30 minutes staring at it.
Dear Iris, you are a blessed soul little angel!

  9. These are exquisite! Iris is truly gifted in so many wonderful ways! To be able to channel her thoughts and feelings and express them the way she does. I am very much interested in purchasing an original. I would be so very proud to display this in my home here in the United Stated.

  10. I am an occupational therapist and work with autistic children in the school system. I am intrigued, every day, at how our little friends attempt to communicate with us, from their world. They never cease to amaze me. I found this story of Iris, and her glorious work, to be very touching.

  11. Hi, we are the Smith’s from Texas, USA and we noticed your daughters lovely art from an article. We wanted encourage you that there is always much hope. Our daughter was non-verbal until about the age of 4 or 5 (with exception of her ‘autistic fits’ as we called them – outbursts of frustration), and at one time would simply color all things solid, but since she began art therapy, she has really found a way to express herself and her verbal skill have also followed. We wanted to invite you to peruse some Sarah’s Sketches on Facebook – her page is https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sarahs-Sketches/182735398412031

We hope you will visit and leave us a link to your page there so we can drive others in our network to visit your page.

    God Bless!

  12. Talented….she has a different way to look at the world and expresses that in her wonderful paintings…I would like an original someday…I have a niece with a learning disability….she takes incredible photos….finds beauty in things we can only imagine….thank you so much for sharing Iris with the world and for helping by donating her art to help others
    .

  13. I love these kinds of painting and would think they were beautiful if it were an adult painting them, but for a 3 year old to be painting like this is absolutely extraordinary!

  14. Beauty and Grace….My mother was an incredible artist. She passed away in November but she had such an innate love of children and how they perceived and experienced the world. She taught me to pause and listen to the children. For there in lies the greatest treasure in life. After her passing, we were finally blessed after 22 years of praying, with a baby girl of our own, Lily Anne which means Lily Grace…. I feel such a connection and kindred touch to your tiny artist. As though the Angels are next to her whispering and delighting in her while she quietly deliberates her color and technique of expression. I would love to order a print for here in America, to display at our cultural center for children and fine arts, and would love an original, even if it was small, to display at Give Kids the World with the Make A Wish Foundation located here that my father co-founded many years ago. I want everyone to experience her gift. And for the world to have a better view of children with autism….children complexly capable, and beautifully blessed in our lives. Her work is such an honoring of those who have gone before us, with hearts that are pure and those who are willing to see the beauty in the life when they look through the eyes of a child. Thank you so much for sharing… Joette ps. I raise and train beautiful golden retrievers for children with various disabilities. What a joy it is for me to be entrusted with such a blessing !

    • Dear Joette,
What a lovely message, thank you so much for taking the time to write to us. It’s amazing timing as just 1 hr ago for the first time we saw a real connection between Iris and my parents dog. She had been spending the whole day with her over at my parents house and ignored her. We are looking after the dog for the weekend so I took her back in the car with me and then as soon as we got out of the car at home Iris stuck to he dog like glue, following her around, trying to get eye contact, playing little games, patting her, stokes… I have never seen her so interested in another animal. Maybe this can be a friend for Iris. I would love to hear about the uses of assistance dogs and how they could help Iris and how you train them. The dog is a black Labrador and is very calm and kind, I think she would be easy to train but she wouldn’t be with Iris all of the time as she is my parents dog so. Think on assistant dog basis that won’t be good as I have heard they need to be together the whole time. Anyway we would love to know your thoughts on this when you have time irisgracepainting@yahoo.com
      Thanks so much,
      Arabella

  15. I would like info on purchasing an original. I think these are fantastic. These are pictures I would hang in our home in the United States. Good job Iris. GOD is good!!!

  16. I’m in complete awe of your daughter’s work. Absolutely incredible! May you raise all of the funds you need and more. This very clearly is her calling in life and she deserves for it to bring her great abundance and joy.

I hope to have the opportunity to own one of her originals someday.

PS- I’m not sure if you’ve heard of this dietary protocol for helping with autism, but supposedly people have had remarkable results with it. http://www.gaps.me Just wanted to share in case it could help.

    Warmest wishes to you all,

    Ariel Yve

  17. Hello,

I am particularly impressed by the paint “Separation”. It’s amazing and wonderfull. When I saw that, I believed that Iris has got a gift and she is really an artist ! I am a french woman and live in Toulouse.
When I look at the paint, I see two persons, a man and a woman who are catching each other their hands and are looking in their eyes. The head of the man is on the left and is big (half of the heigt of the paint) whereas the woman’s head is smaller, on the right.
But what is beautiful, is the way the persons are painted : I see very clearly their eyes, the man’s nose, his mouth, their hair … The woman has her long hair tied in a ponytail. I also see her eye, her long neck …
If it is really her who has painted this picture and not a joke, so it is heavenly.

    • Thank you so much for your kind comments about Separation, it hasn’t been everyone’s favourite as its got so much going on and yes, we saw people in it to. She did it by using loads of paint, very wet, then dragged the end of the brush making patterns. It was all very calm and delicate, she wasnt mixing them or making a mess, it was controlled. At the time I thought it was pretty and looked like marbling then when I photographed I started to see things within it too. What’s quite ironic is she finds looking at faces hard and so many turn up in the paintings, she collects cards with faces on too and lines three of them up in her play area, I never move them at it seems so important to her.

  18. Extraordinarily beautiful. My mother was a painter, and a pretty good one. It took her several years of study and painting to get to this “Monet” stage. I’m completely at a loss for words.

  19. oh ~ my god!!!!!
    she is genious~!!!! so great~!!!
you are god bless ~~~ peace be with you~^^/~
    bye~!

  20. Wow! These are all so beautiful. I am going to add “buy an Iris original” [or print] to my list of things that I want :) I have looked at them numerous times and it will be hard to pick just one. These would be beautiful done as prints on cards as well so they could be easily shared with others. Breath taking and inspirational!

  21. These paintings rival Monet. They are simply stunning and you can feel a sense of serenity just looking at them. As long as it brings Iris happiness and joy that is all that matters.

  22. Hi, I love her paintings, they are just so wonderful!!
Monet’s paintings came to my mind at first sight.
After the exhibition in November, would it be possible to buy an original?
    (Not via auction)
Also, is it possible to buy print in South Korea?
I would love to hang her painting in my house, it makes me feel so peaceful and happy :D

  23. She’s a blessed child.
Extraordinary paintings, she plays with colors in her own way, and it’s beautiful. I loved it.
and it trully reminds me of Monet’s paitings, he’s my favorite painter, but I have to admit I loved Iris’s more.

I hope it brings her happiness, she’s an amazing kid.
    Congratulations :)

  24. I am not the art critic but I like your daughter’s paintings more than about 90% of “art pieces” I’ve seen in Tate Modern. I suppose her expression will develop as she gets older. I’m glad you are going to make an exhibition in London. I will certainly come.

  25. Dear Arabella,
I’m amazed by your daughter talent. Her style reminds me Monet, too. I live in Canada but I’ll try to come to London to see her exhibition. Wish you and your family all the best. It must be extraordinary journey with such an artist at home. Good luck with the exhibition. Your daughter brings a lot of happiness to this world. You must be so proud !
    Love,
    Yvonne

  28. Dear parents,

Iris has a beautiful gift, these paintings are really amazing. The best thing is that this is something she likes to do. Congratulations!!!!

  29. Your paintings seem as if they come alive. Each one has beautiful colors and so unique. I love each one of them. They are very relaxing..thank you for sharing.

  30. Dear Arabella
Just you say I received the prints of ‘Blossom in the Wind’ & ‘Water Dance’ earlier this week. They are absolutely stunning. Iris has an amazing talent, thank you for showng it to the world.

  31. Congratulations on such humanity and beauty. Thanks for sharing with the world so marked by technology and machine your gift so beautiful and sensitive. God preserve you and help forever. Thanks and more thanks. Moved me to the heart!

  33. i am from chile and i just want to say that the paintings are wornderful, i would love to have one…it is just amazing the talent of Iris :)

  34. I’m from England but am living in Argentina. I’m studying psychology and we’ve had a chapter on autism; when explaining how they have different ways of expressing themselves and how they can go incredibly far despite their disability when helped by their parents, our argentine teacher (with no connection to England) gave the example of Iris. She told us a bit about her and showed us some of her paintings. I’m sure I’m not the only one that looked her up as soon as I got home!
I just wanted to tell you that the incredible and inspiring talent that Iris has has travelled around the world! I’m even thinking of buying one of her beautiful paintings when I go back to the UK on holiday!

    • Dear Anna,
Thankyou so much for your message, I am so touched that your teacher used Iris as an example and that you love her work. Can you pass on the message to her that we are so happy for her to talk about Iris and hopefully it will open up peoples minds about Autism and the potential that is held within.
      Kind Regards,
      Arabella (Iris’s Mother)

  35. Hello. I have been looking at Iris Grace delicate work with the idea of 8 cards in mind. I think you have to look at any selection to be sure to have a good representation of colours and techniques for variety. I have selected 9 that I really like and think are varied although I cant see them all together. They are not in preferential order.
Anima, Thistledown, Journey, Bluebells / Patience, Sunny day, Music at Sunrise and Row Your Boat.
Good luck with the cards. I will look out for them.

  36. Blessings, I just found this beautifull picture a and I am a sed of Gods creation.
Your daughter hasan incredible gift, and it is amazing you were able to help her manifest this talent and help her feed her soul.
I love her art. And if it spossible will love to have an original , but live in Mexico, can you explain to me the procedure. To get one?
I am not in a hurry, I believe that if something is meant to be it will happen.in any way, blessings for Iris ,and for all the familly, and the project that is helping many understand her special situation.
    Maria Ramirez.
